GENERAL INFORMATION

Transportation: Unless you prefer to take your own vehicle on private trips, we will use the Earth Tours 4WD vehicle that is totally rigged for comfort, education, and pleasure, with a complete library, toys for kids, warm clothes and raingear, binoculars, maps and illustrations, plus more. Some hikes start at one trailhead and end at another, so we might use your car to do a shuttle.

Pick-up and Drop-off: Guide will meet guests at their hotels or campsite or arrange to meet them elsewhere.

Capacity: Groups of 7 (5 people have window seats) or larger private groups if you drive an additional car to the trailhead. Maximum of 11 guests per guide.

Age Requirements: Keith loves family trips, but no children under 7 except on private trips. Children 7-10 are welcome with prior notice and the supervision of a responsible adult.

Lunch/Snacks/Beverages: Chips, candy bars, dried fruit, and beverages (soda, juice, or water). Delicious sandwiches made to order by the Burr Trail Grill will be provided on full-day tours.

Price Includes: Transportation, guide, snacks, lunches (on full-day tours), and all the bells and whistles in the van. Prices based on two or more participants. Private trips are available at special rates.

Equipment Needed: Hat, Sunglasses, Sunscreen, Outdoor clothing (appropriate for season), Comfortable shoes or boots suitable for hiking on slickrock and primitive trails (some hikes require shoes that will get wet wading through creeks and waterholes-an old pair of tennis shoes works well), Camera/Video camera with extra film, Binoculars (optional).

Cost: Half-day hiking trips - $75/ person or $300.00 for private trip.
Full-day hiking trips - $100/person or $400.00 for private trip.
Long-hikes (greater than 10 hours), or photography tours starting before dawn or finishing after dusk - $120/person.
Children 7-10 (half price) must be with a responsible adult.
Per/person rates based on two-person minimum. Private trip rates higher for groups larger than 5 (i.e. fifth person is complementary, but additional charge for more guests).
Full-day - Ultimate Road Trip to Capital Reef - add $50 if you want to use the Earth Tours van.
For the 6-day tour, price depends upon number of guests. Call for a price quote and reservations.

Cancellation Policy:

For trips open to other guests:
One week in advance for full refund
Less than one week notice for 50% refund
Less than 48 hours notice, 100% cancellation fee

For private and multi-day trips:
More than 30 days advance notice, full refund
Less than 30 days advance notice, 50% refund
Less than 48 hours notice, no refund

Bad Weather Policy: Trip will be tailored to suit weather. If weather is really bad, then we will either postpone trip or I will offer full refund.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Transportation: Keith's Honda Odyssey is totally rigged for comfort, education, and pleasure, with a complete library, toys for kids, umbrellas, binoculars, maps and illustrations, plus more! With prior notice, guest(s) can use your own or rental car or larger van, but Keith will need VIN# and other information in order to obtain livery insurance.

Pick-up and Drop-off: Keith will pick up guests at their hotels or arrange to meet them elsewhere in the Jackson Hole area

Capacity: Groups of 5 (everyone has window seat) or 6 (a smaller person will need to sit in middle rear seat). For larger groups, we can travel in two vehicles (you will drive your vehicle) and communicate with walkie-talkies. With prior notice, it is possible to rent a 12-passenger van, or hire a bus with me as your step-on guide.

Age Requirements: Keith loves family trips, but needs to know ages and abilities of kids in advance. Kids under 12 must be under supervision of responsible adult. Guests should consider long driving times to Yellowstone and Fossil.

Snacks/Beverages: Bagels, fruit, snacks, and beverages (coffee, teas, soda, juice, or water).

Lunch: Keith will provide fresh bagels, sandwich makings (turkey, cheeses, etc.), chips, cookies, fruit, & beverages. Please notify Keith if you have dietary restrictions, prefer to bring own picnic lunch or eat at a restaurant.

Price Includes: Transportation, guide, snacks, and lunch (on full-day trips). Prices based on two or more participants. Private trips are available at special rates. Entry fees are separate. (see below)

Equipment Needed: Hat, Sunglasses, Sunscreen, Outdoor clothing/Warm layers, Raingear, Shoes suitable for walking, Camera/Video camera with extra film, Binoculars and Spotting scopes (optional).

EVOLUTION OF THE TETONS
A driving tour along the Grand Teton National Park loop with short walks (less than a mile each) to special places.

Length of Trip: Half Day (4 hours) or Full Day (8 hours)

Departure: Departs from your hotel or wherever suits guests
Half-day trip departs at about 8:00am(7:00am for more wildlife)
or 1:00pm (later for more wildlife)
Full Day departs from your hotel at about 9:00am (more wildlife if at 7:00am)

Return: Return to your hotel or wherever suits guests
Half-Day trips return at about noon or 5:00pm (depends on departure time)
Full Day trip returns at about 5:00pm (depends on departure time)

Cost:
Half Day: $500.00 for private tour*.
Full Day: $800.00 for private tour*.
*$10.00 cash per person Park Entrance Fee is additional (or bring valid National Park Pass).
Rates subject to change for groups larger than 4 (additional $125/additional person for half day, $200/additional person full day.

HOT SPOTS IN YELLOWSTONE
A driving tour north from Jackson to Yellowstone's south loop with stops at scenic pull-outs and short walks to Geyser Basins and Yellowstone Falls.

Length of Trip: Full Day (10-12 hours to do southern loop, ~300-miles round trip) or to suit private guests

Departure: Departs from your hotel or wherever suits guests at about 7:00am (later if private guests prefer)

Return: Return to your hotel or wherever suits guests at about 6:00pm (or whenever private guests prefer)

Cost:
$1000.00 private trip*.
*$10.00 cash per person Park Entrance Fee is additional (or bring valid National Park Pass).
Rates subject to change for groups larger than 4 (additional $250/additional person).

Special Two Day Trip: An outstanding complete tour of Yellowstone with overnight stay at Chico Hot Spring (wonderful historic hotel, 5-Star restaurant, and superb developed hot spring). Ask Keith for prices, reservations, and other details.

EXPLORING THE TOP OF THE WORLD
THIS TOUR IS CANCELED UNTIL THE TRAM RESUMES OPERATION IN 2009


FOSSIL FISHING IN FOSSIL BUTTE
Quarrying and collecting beautiful fossil fish at the Ulrich Quarry near Fossil Butte National Monument, with scenic drive through Snake River Canyon and Wyoming's Overthrust Belt mountains with views of Wind River Range on the return trip. Although it is incredibly fun, digging for fossil fish can be hot and dirty, so wear comfortable field clothes that can get soiled. Drive to Fossil Butte is 3 hours one-way.

Length of Trip: Full Day (10-12 hours)

Departure: Departs from your hotel or wherever suits guests at about 8:00am

Return: Return to your hotel at 6:00pm.

Cost:
$1000.00 private trip*.
*Additional charge of $75.00 per person to excavate and collect fossil fish at Ulrich Quarry.
Rates subject to change for groups larger than 4 (additional $250/additional person).

Bad Weather Policy: If wet weather makes quarry roads impassable, Keith will allow cancellation for full refund.
